2020 National Mustang Day
Event Photos
The Mustang World did not expect to be home this year, but rather enjoying a cruise in their Mustang to celebrate National Mustang Day.
Whether they planned to cruise as a group or as an individual, most of these events/cruises have been either canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
While organized events/cruises are not allowed, we hope, if you had to go somewhere you drove your Mustang to celebrate National Mustang Day in a small way.

Nova Scotia Mustang Club
As we all know Covid has been a real game changer for us all. The weather was favorable in Nova Scotia Canada this year on both Friday April 17th & the following Saturday April 18th. Normally we put off the clubs first event of the year as outlined in the club registration during NMD. This year we asked members to take a photo of their car at home on in low populated setting and post on the clubs Facebook site. A lot of members did so. Some pictures were taken at home on Friday & Saturday with other members posting past pictures taken during the many events we host each season. Some members added some signs in their windshields. I also want to note that some members took pictures of their cars with some great Atlantic Canada backgrounds, the 69 Mach 1 was taken in picturesque Peggy’s Cove NS; while the Blue 88 Cobra picture was taken in historic Lunenburg NS. Both locations very scenic & well known international tourist destinations. The sample of pictures also show case the diversified variety of cars our members proudly drive. We are all hoping for the situation to pass and eagerly looking to get on road in numbers. We have also added a picture of a simple star a member put on his garage as a symbol of hope & better times ahead. I will wish all members of the mustang community to be safe & hope for a soon passage of this terrible virus.

A few members of Central Georgia Mustang Club practiced "social distancing" to celebrate the anniversary of our rides by taking a cruise on some great back roads.

New Freedom PA
Managed to get a 40 min ride in on April 17, but basically all dressed up with no where to go.

This is some of the pictures from our photo scavenger hunt. The Space Coast Mustang Club teamed up with local performance shop to put on what we called the Quarantine cabin fever cruise. We e-mailed a list of 20 things to take a picture of with your Mustang in it, like an American flag, a first responded, a ship, a wall mural and the hard to find toilet paper. SHINY SIDE UP!

I was having "Car Show Withdrawals" this weekend and decided to celebrate National Mustang Day with my own car show in my driveway! Lonely - but if you are the only participant, you win all the trophies! I am the proud owner of 3 Mustangs: 1965 2+2 Fastback, 1966 Coupe, and 1970 Fastback!

What did I do in National Mustang Day? My husband and I social distanced from people by going on a 2 hour drive having fun on the backroads of South Carolina. Playing cat and mouse, we had a blast together in our 2018 Royal Crimson EcoBoost named Black Cherry and 2015 50th Anniversary Competition Orange GT named KHARMA. We adore our stangs and after 21 years of marriage, we adore each other and the fun we have together and looking to make many more memories for years to come.
